Just Kids

I love this book.  There have been a few mornings in bed when I could not rip away from it accompanied by a cup of tea.  Just Kids tells the story of Patti Smith and Robert Mapplethorpe’s long relationship. They  met while both homeless, young artists in New York City.  As Johnny Depp states on the back cover, “Patti Smith has graced us with a poetic masterpiece, a rare, privileged invitation to unlatch a treasure chest never before breached.”
